Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (UTMSpace) and KTC Accountants Institute have embarked on a joint-venture programme to train undergraduates who are business savvy. Under the Executive Diploma in Busines s Development Programme, 50 students from both academic institutions would undergo an 18-month part-time programme at KTC Accountants Institute in Nusajaya. “We hope the joint-programme will produce quality accountants in view of the shortage of the profession in the country,’’ said KTC Group of Accountants Institute chairman Chong Chai Pin. He said this at the signing ceremony between KTC Group and UTMsapce presented by its programme executive (Development Unit) Mohamad Syafwan Arshad, the event was witnessed by Stulang assemblyman Mok Chek Hou.
